TOURISM: Scientia Square Park

Picture 1. Scientia Square Park

WHAT is the Scientia Square Park?

Scientia Square Park is a 1,2 hectares park built in the Scientia Garden area in Gading Serpong, Tangerang Selatan. The park serves us a unique style; a hybrid of
modern hangouts with a country atmosphere. They even built some rice fields in it!

WHERE is it?

Its address is at Scientia Square Park, Jalan Scientia Boulevard, Gading Serpong, Curug Sangereng, Klp. Dua, Tangerang, Banten 15810, Indonesia. It is in Scientia Garden area and there is Universitas Multimedia Nusantara near it, can be said, these two share an address together. We can find them through internet on www.scientiapark.com.

WHEN is it open and close?

It is open everyday from 05:00 – 21:00 WIB. As usual, the busiest days are weekends, and it was almost no one there when I was visiting on the last Friday (4/28).

Picture 6. This swing caused me getting nauseous.

WHO can visit the park?

Picture 7.
Everyone who wants to get some fresh air and greeny view is very welcomed, or those who interest in outdoor sports; they can enter to skateboard, roller skate, do a wall climbing, futsal, and/or horse ride at “Horse Riding” area. There is also a trampoline arena to jump.

Beside these sport activities, we can go learn some science at the glass building Metamorphosys Butterfly Farm! There are so many butterflies in it!

After meeting with the pretty butterflies, we should play with the rabbits! Their cage’s area is just some meters away in front of the butterflies’s house.

I really wanted to go inside but it costs an addition fee, hehehe, so I had to be satisfied enough with capturing pictures of their cage from outside. Ah, why was no one outside though...?!! T_T

WHY do visitors love to be there?

As one of their visitors, I can tell it amazing. The park has almost every corner for their particular visitors’s interests, like they didn’t build it for nothing but surely to please every certain visitor. Well, some additional fees are required in order to join in to certain attractions/activity but IDR 25,000 is enough to enjoy the dreamy view.

HOW is the environment around this park?

Scientia Square Park is a part of the Scientia Garden. I was so clueless which entrance exactly we were going inside through to arrive at the park, but that day, with the direction of my friend who had been there before, we walked through the food court. Then, when we had gotten the park’s entrance, we saw another tourist attraction right in front of it: Human Body.

We were out from another “door”, it was near the rabbit’s cage. Then we finally saw this relief on the wall.

Picture 23. So yes, I took this picture after we're out (´∀`)

In front of it, there is apparently another indoor recreation area: Play Date.

However, I learned later that the garden was really a huge place! A big appreciation to the developers. I had no idea at all there was such cool tourist attraction in this city (*´∀`)
