Hello, I’m sharing to you a piece of happiness I experienced during the Ramadhan month in my hometown! I, with my mother and two younger brothers arrived in Kutoarjo way too earlier than our actual plan. We wished we could grab the D-5 or at least D-7 of Ied Fitr train tickets, but even D-10 departures’ seats were all sold out, as expected. Still, we wanted to go. So we just reserved any day tickets available. And... tadah! We ended up spending half of our Ramadhan month in our beloved grandma’s house. And it was actually good.
One of these starving days, just approximately one and half hour to the upcoming Adzan Maghrib, my uncle drove us to a flawless place; a beach!
What a stunning view! We actually came to see sunset, but the weather appeared not to be that great. Too bad. But it was still dashing though. ♥♥
You have to come and see it yourself, the real beauty that my poor quality phone’s camera couldn’t capture. It is located at dusun Ketawang at Ketawangrejo village, Grabag, Purworejo, Jawa Tengah. There is a lighthouse few hundreds meters away distant to the north from this beach. I saw it at my way entering the beach; my surroundings were farming fields. The lighthouse is a tourist attraction and anyone is allowed to go up to enjoy the view from up there.
The beach has natural black sand and very clean -99% trash-free. Well, it was indeed not a public place so no tourist that would litter there. Even the road we were passing towards the beach was clean too, and way too narrow; only one-car large. Aside from that, everyone noticed that our both sides were so “green” with those tall grasses and coconut trees. I think spooky describes it best. I bet you can bury anything there with no one even knowing. Just dig and bury your treasure box, and do not tell anyone, and it would be safe under there. Or something more secretive that need to be buried like a killed guy, for example?
Okay back to the beach ㅡI'm getting goosebumps lol.

There were only few people visiting the “unknown” beach, so the quiet atmosphere was the one I enjoyed the most. I could barely hear them shouting and only the sound of waves fulfilled my ears ㅡthey had been blessed. It’s so refreshing. It always made want to go back or visiting other places like that. Oh, I almost forgot the wind which took the biggest role of the harmony (and God of course, on the top of anyone and anything) for rolling the water and making waves that sounds so good in my ears. I always loved wind of beach every time I visited to one and this time I want to feel it again even though that one was way too strong, hence the waves were so huge and freaked me out LOL.
More than the so-so weather, I wished I could stay there a little longer! Playing with waves was THAT fun!
Now that I'm thinking about campfire in beach, I'm adding a beach camping to my bucket list. Just saying because why not it would be great.
